British singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé performs a live concert at O2 universum.
Emeli Sandé is a British singer-songwriter of Scottish upbringing, born in Sunderland and raised in Alford, Aberdeenshire. Her debut album Our Version of Events (2012) spent 10 weeks at UK No. 1 and set a record for a female artist with 67 consecutive weeks in the Top 10. She performed at both the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympics and received an MBE for Services to Music in 2018.
The concert at Prague's O2 universum was postponed to June 27, 2026.
Sandé performed in Sunderland under her real name Adele Sandé as part of Sunderland Year of Music 2025-2026.
She released the single "Roots", which she promotes on her social media and YouTube channel.
She released the fifth studio album How Were We to Know with Chrysalis Records.
With the album Let's Say for Instance, she moved to the independent label Chrysalis - for the first time in a decade outside of major labels.
