Editors are a British indie rock band from Birmingham who broke through in the mid-2000s. Their sound is built on dark, atmospheric guitars and the deep baritone of frontman Tom Smith, drawing comparisons to Joy Division and Interpol. Their debut album The Back Room (2005) remains their defining record.
