About

Edgar Wright (born 18 April 1974 in Poole, England) is a British director and screenwriter whose signature fast-cut style, whip pans and music-driven editing have made him one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary genre cinema. He rose to prominence with the Cornetto trilogy - Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End - co-written with Simon Pegg, and the video-game action-comedy Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010). His later work includes the heist thriller Baby Driver (2017), the psychological horror Last Night in Soho (2021), and The Running Man (2025), his adaptation of Stephen King's dystopian novel starring Glen Powell.
