Eclipse (Sweden)
Swedish rock band Eclipse performs at the Havírov Celebrations festival.
Eclipse is a Swedish hard rock band from Stockholm, active since 1999. Founded by Erik Mårtensson (vocals, guitar) and Magnus Henriksson (guitar), the band has built its reputation on melodic hard rock and AOR over more than two decades and ten studio albums. The 2019 single "Viva La Victoria" crossed 40 million Spotify streams and brought the band mainstream attention, while their festival appearances at Wacken, Sweden Rock and Download have cemented their status on the European rock circuit.
Eclipse cancelled their Australian tour at the last minute after the organizers failed to meet the agreed conditions.
The German leg of the Megalomanium Tour 2025 included seven club shows - the Munich date was sold out.
Drummer Magnus "Adde" Andreasson (ex-Hardcore Superstar) joined Eclipse and performed his first concert with the band on May 2, 2025 at the Karmøygeddon festival in Norway.
Eclipse were added to the lineup of the Swedish festival Time To Rock 2025 in Knislinge as the band that fans voted for the most.
The band released the album Megalomanium II through Frontiers Music Srl and immediately after its release embarked on a headlining tour across Central Europe.
