Dušan Jurkovič (1868–1947) was a Slovak and Moravian architect, one of the most prominent Art Nouveau figures in Central Europe. He was known for blending folk architectural traditions with modern Art Nouveau elements. His notable works include the Pustevny mountain resort in the Beskydy mountains and his own villa in Brno-Žabovřesky, built in 1906.
