Dominique Pinon (born 4 March 1955 in Saumur, France) is a French actor with a career spanning more than four decades across theatre, film and television. He is best known internationally for his recurring roles in Jean-Pierre Jeunet's films - Delicatessen, The City of Lost Children, Amélie and Alien: Resurrection - where his distinctive face and physical presence made him one of French cinema's most recognisable character actors. In 2004 he won the Molière Award for Best Actor on stage, and in 2014 was appointed Officier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
Pinon appeared in the French film Boîte à mots and voiced the character Percy in the Australian animated film Percy.
Pinon returned to the role of Master Raymond in the series Outlander - his character last appeared in the finale of the seventh season.
Pinon voiced the character Percy in the Australian stop-motion animated film Memoir of a Snail directed by Adam Elliot, which won an award at the Annecy festival.
Pinon played the character Loga in the Greek-French science fiction drama She Loved Blossoms More directed by Yannis Veslemes.
Pinon was appointed an officer of the French Order of Arts and Letters (Ordre des Arts et des Lettres).
