DJ Ruby is a Maltese DJ, producer and event curator active since the early 1990s, widely known for long-form, hypnotic progressive house sets. After years shaping Malta's club scene - including a decade-long Renaissance residency - he refocused entirely on the international underground circuit in 2018 and has toured non-stop since. His curated compilations Constellations: Orion and Augmented both hit No. 1 on the Beatport Progressive Album chart.
In March 2026, DJ Ruby performed a special six-hour all-night set at Sky Club Malta commemorating ten years of underground progressive events in Malta (2015-2025).
In January 2026, DJ Ruby performed at Copenhagen's Culture Box as part of the What Happens series.
In November 2025, the second edition of his Prog Pulse concept took place at Sky Club Malta, this time with a DJ booth in the center of the dance floor in a 360° stage format.
In October 2025, DJ Ruby released the compilation MA.ADE 010 and performed at the Balance Croatia festival.
In an interview for CDA Magazine in October 2024, DJ Ruby confirmed upcoming production for the Cafe De Anatolia label featuring ethnic instruments, planned for 2025.
