Dexter Franc is a Czech actor, model and poet who studies at the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University. He first caught wider attention in Viktor Tauš's film Amerikánka, and at twenty-one he took on the lead role in Olmo Omerzu's drama Nevděčné bytosti, playing Klára, a teenage girl struggling with anorexia. He takes on both male and female roles on screen, while in everyday life he uses masculine pronouns.
