Denis Chuzhoy is a Russian stand-up comedian and screenwriter who built his following through YouTube and social media, bypassing television entirely. After publicly denouncing the war against Ukraine in February 2022, he received death threats and left Russia. He now tours Europe and the US, sometimes performing under the English name Dan the Stranger.
