Vracov Village Festival with Wreath and Jester
A traditional village festival in Vracov celebrating local customs with ceremonial elements and festive atmosphere.
Vracovjáci are a traditional Moravian brass band from Vracov in southern Moravia, founded in 1990 by Libor Neduchal, though the band only became fully active after 1992 once most members returned from mandatory military service. Performing in folk costumes, they play polkas and waltzes rooted in Moravian Slovácko tradition, and in 1998 they won the national Zlatá křídlovka title. They have released several studio albums, appeared on Czech television and performed abroad, remaining one of the region's best-known brass ensembles.
The chapel was broadcast by Noe television in the program Muzikanti hrajte, filmed at the Hodonín Cultural Center.
Vladimír Procházka became the new conductor of the ensemble from 2025, replacing the long-time conductor Jiřího Prese.
Until 2024, the chapel was led by conductor Jiří Pres.
The Vracovians performed at the Hodonín Cultural Center as part of the 35th edition of the Wind Orchestra Concert Series.
The chapel is announced to perform at the Vracov Harvest Festival with open wine cellars.
