
Tenor Without Tails
Charismatic tenor David Uličník from the vocal ensemble 4TET performs a varied programme spanning Italian arias, rock ballads, and Czech compositions.
David Uličník (born 18 June 1972 in Kroměříž) is a Czech tenor, musical theatre actor and founding member of the vocal quartet 4TET. He has performed in over twenty musicals - including Jean Valjean in Les Misérables and John in Miss Saigon - earning three nominations for the Thálie Award. His solo show Tenor bez fraku (Tenor Without a Tailcoat), performed with the Orchestryon ensemble, blends Italian arias, rock ballads and Czech songs in a relaxed, informal setting.
The band 4TET, of which Uličník was a founding member, announced its definitive end in February 2024.
Uličník played the lead role of Jean Valjean in a new production of the musical Les Misérables - The Wretched.
In March 2023, Uličník organized his first art exhibition in the Prague cafe Karolinka on Malá Strana.
Since 2021, he has been performing with his own show Dialogy s Krylem, dedicated to the songs of Karel Kryl.
