David Fincher (born August 28, 1962, in Denver, Colorado) is an American film director whose work - mostly psychological thrillers and neo-noirs - has grossed over $2.1 billion worldwide and earned 40 Academy Award nominations. He rose to prominence with Se7en (1995), Fight Club (1999), and The Social Network (2010), the last of which won him the Golden Globe and BAFTA for Best Director. Before features, he built his reputation directing iconic music videos for Madonna and the Rolling Stones, and since 2018 has worked closely with Netflix, producing Mindhunter, Mank, and The Killer.
The film The Adventures of Cliff Booth is released on November 25, 2026 exclusively in IMAX cinemas and from December 23, 2026 on Netflix.
