David Burda is a clarinettist, singer and manager of the Czech folk ensemble Jiří Pavlica & Hradišťan, one of the country's most respected world-folk groups. He first performed with Hradišťan at the age of 14 and has stayed ever since, gradually taking on the ensemble's management alongside his roles as instrumentalist and vocalist. Since 1995 he has been one of its core soloists, playing clarinet and flutes.
Hradišťan performed on December 13, 2025 at the Prague O2 arena as a special guest of the Great Deer Concert.
The joint concert season of Hradišťan with Hana and Petr Ulrychovi and the Javory Beat group ended on November 19, 2025 in Žďár nad Sázavou.
The legendary album O slunovratu (1999) was re-released in 2025 in a new four-leaf digipak with a second CD containing an archival recording from 1987.
