David John Franco (born June 12, 1985, in Palo Alto, California) is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He broke through with a supporting role in 21 Jump Street (2012) and went on to appear in franchises such as Now You See Me and Neighbors before stepping behind the camera with his directorial debut, the horror film The Rental (2020). In 2025 he had one of his busiest years yet, starring in the body-horror film Together alongside wife Alison Brie and reprising his role as Jack Wilder in Now You See Me: Now You Don't.
