DanGar Six is a rock-metal band from Jablonec nad Nisou, founded in May 2013. Their name is a contraction of "Dan's garage" (Danova garáž) and the original six-member lineup. Singing exclusively in Czech, the band plays melodic rock metal and has released three studio albums: "Smetiště dějin" (2018), "Temná doba" (2021) and "Noc, kdy nevyjdou hvězdy" (2025). They also organize their own annual open-air festival in Smržovka and have appeared at the Masters of Rock festival.
In November 2025, a new bassist Radan Jareš joined the band.
The third studio album "The Night When Stars Won't Rise" was released on May 30, 2025 at the Eurocentre in Jablonec.
The title single from the album reached 6th place on the rock chart of Hey radio.
The album was recorded in February 2025 at Holly Cross studio of Martin Hollander in Velelibech near Nymburk.
In 2025, the band organized the ninth edition of DanGar Six Open Air Fest, this time at the Volt brewery in Jablonec nad Nisou.
