About

DAMICHI is a Czech-Italian music trio whose name is a portmanteau of the first names of its three members: Davide Mattioli, Michal David and Chiara Grilli. The group formed in 2003 after David and Mattioli met at a joint concert in Bratislava the previous year, with David proposing to revive the great Italian pop hits of the 1980s. Their four studio albums in the Největší italské hity series, released on Sony Music, collectively sold over 100,000 copies, making DAMICHI one of the most commercially successful Czech-Italian crossover projects.
