Czech Republic national box lacrosse team

About

The Czech Republic men's national box lacrosse team is governed by the Czech Lacrosse Union and draws its players mainly from the amateur National Box Lacrosse League (NBLL). The country has one of Europe's longest box lacrosse traditions - the first game was played in Prague in 1986. At the 2011 World Championship on home soil, the team reached the semi-finals as the top European side, and at the inaugural EBLC in 2017 they finished runners-up, losing the gold-medal game 7-8 to Israel. They placed 6th at the 2024 World Championship in Utica.
