Crispin Hellion Glover (born April 20, 1964, New York City) is an American actor, filmmaker, author, and musician, son of actor Bruce Glover. He is best known for playing George McFly in Back to the Future (1985), but has spent decades building a parallel career as an independent filmmaker - he refuses to release his films to streaming or home video, touring them in person instead. He owns property in the Czech Republic, where he shot much of his third feature film.
Glover filed a countersuit against the woman who accused him of assault, and accused her of assault, battery, invasion of privacy, and trespassing.
Glover started 2026 with a tour of the film No! YOU'RE WRONG. or: Spooky Action at a Distance - in January he performed in Vancouver and Seattle.
Glover thanked the audience for the premiere tour of his third feature film, whose final stop was Texas Theatre in Dallas.
The film No! YOU'RE WRONG. or: Spooky Action at a Distance had its world premiere on October 2, 2025 at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
Glover confirmed in an interview that he filmed the third film largely on his property in the Czech Republic, where he had film sets built with an area of over 1,600 m².
