Claudia Wells is an American actress, born July 5, 1966 in Kuala Lumpur, best known for playing Jennifer Parker opposite Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future (1985). She stepped away from the sequels to care for her mother, who had been diagnosed with stage-four cancer, and was replaced by Elisabeth Shue. Since 1991 she has run Armani Wells, a men's clothing store in Studio City, Los Angeles, and returned to public life in 2011 - reprising her role in the video game and attending fan conventions worldwide.
Claudia Wells participated in Tokyo Comic Con (December 5-7, 2025) alongside Christopher Lloyd, Lee Thompson, and Tom Wilson.
In November 2025, Wells met with a young fan dressed as Marty McFly at an event at Hollywood United Methodist Church and shared the photo on Instagram.
Universal Pictures announced celebrations for the 40th anniversary of Back to the Future, including a limited theatrical re-release starting October 31, 2025 in Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and D-Box formats.
Wells participated in July 2025 at the fan event Toyfest Querétaro in Mexico and performed in August at Valley Relics Museum.
In April 2024, Wells visited the cast of the Broadway musical Back to the Future, where she met with the performer of Jennifer Parker on stage.
