Chris Sanders (born March 12, 1962, in Colorado Springs, Colorado) is an American filmmaker, animator, and voice actor. He co-created, co-wrote, and co-directed Lilo & Stitch (2002) - including originating and voicing the character Stitch - and later co-directed How to Train Your Dragon (2010). His solo animated feature The Wild Robot (2024) swept the Annie Awards with nine wins and earned three Oscar nominations.
Disney confirmed that Sanders will direct the live-action film Lilo & Stitch 2, with its premiere scheduled for May 2028.
