Chris Pratt (born 1979) is an American actor who first gained wide recognition in the sitcom Parks and Recreation before becoming one of Hollywood's biggest action stars. He is best known as Star-Lord in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and as Owen Grady in the Jurassic World trilogy. In 2023 he voiced Mario in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide and ranked as the year's top-grossing film.
