OHM SQUARE 30
OHM SQUARE celebrates 30 years. The pioneering Czech electronic band with live instruments and soulful vocals returns with new material and classic tracks.
Charlie One is the stage name of Charlotte Fairman, a British singer originally from Essex who relocated to Prague in the mid-1990s and has been based there ever since. She is the vocal force behind the Prague electronic group OHM SQUARE, which she co-founded in 1996 with producer Jan Čechtický. The band's debut album Ohmophonica was the first officially released electronic dance album in the Czech Republic, and their music has featured in several Czech films. Before Prague, Fairman sang on the UK house track 'Petal' by Wubble-U, which became a hit in the Czech Republic after its use in the film Šeptej.
OHM SQUARE released a new single 'Hidden in the rhythm' on the Bandcamp platform.
As part of the celebration of OHM SQUARE's 30th anniversary, special solo performances are planned for autumn 2026, including in Ostrava (Dock, October 24).
OHM SQUARE will perform at the summer festival in Poděbrady (Poděbrady Castle, August 28, 2026).
OHM SQUARE released a series of remixes of the track 'Happy?' by various producers, including AXT, Bull In China and others.
OHM SQUARE released the album '/0' with an expanded lineup including Mirka Lacka and Oliver Torra.
