Candela Peña, born María del Pilar Peña Sánchez on 14 July 1973 in Gavà, Catalonia, is a Spanish actress with a career spanning more than three decades across film, television and theatre. She gained international recognition through her role in Almodóvar's All About My Mother (1999) and has won three Goya Awards - for Take My Eyes (2003), Princesas (2005) and A Gun in Each Hand (2012). Recent streaming hits El caso Asunta (Netflix, 2024) and Furia (HBO Max, 2025) have cemented her status as one of Spain's most sought-after actresses.
