Cân Bardd is a Swiss atmospheric black metal project founded in Geneva in 2016 by Malo Civelli, who was 18 at the time. It is essentially a solo endeavour - Civelli writes and performs nearly everything himself, drawing on nature, folklore and personal emotion. Three albums released through Northern Silence Productions have built the project a devoted following, with the 2021 record Devoured by the Oak widely regarded as its strongest work.
Northern Silence Productions released a limited reissue of the album Devoured by the Oak on orange-black marbled vinyl (500 copies).
Cân Bardd performed on a European tour alongside Saor, In the Woods... and Imperium Dekadenz - stops included Prague, Leipzig, Lichtenfels (Ragnarök Festival), Paris and Lyon.
A European tour with Imperium Dekadenz, Saor and In the Woods... was announced, scheduled for April 2025.
Northern Silence Productions released a limited edition of the debut album Nature Stays Silent on blue vinyl with white and black splatter (199 copies).
