Brion Howard James (February 20, 1945 - August 7, 1999) was an American character actor who accumulated over 100 film and more than 100 television credits across a 25-year career. His imposing 6'3" frame and talent for menace made him one of Hollywood's most recognizable heavies, with his defining role being the replicant Leon Kowalski in Ridley Scott's Blade Runner (1982). He died of a heart attack at his Malibu home, aged 54.
