Brian Smith is the drummer and co-founder of Las Vegas heavy metal band Hemlock. He and his brother Chad - vocalist and bassist - started the group in 1993 as teenagers in their mother's garage in Henderson, Nevada. Over more than three decades, the band has released over ten albums entirely independently and toured the US, Canada, Europe and Japan, sharing stages with Slayer, Slipknot and Lamb of God, among others. Brian is one of only two members who have been with Hemlock since day one.
Hemlock released a new official music video for the song "Crooked Smile".
The band completed the spring tour "Pigeonholed" Spring Tour 2026 with stops in Henderson, Mesa, Gallup and other cities.
Hemlock announced the release of a vinyl version of the album Pigeonholed.
Hemlock performed a fall tour through the northwestern USA with stops in Cheyenne, Salt Lake City and other cities.
The band embarked on a spring 2025 tour with Don Gatto featuring concerts in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.
