British physicist Brian Cox brings his Emergence World Tour 2026 to Prague — an engaging live science show exploring the origins of the universe and the fundamental laws of nature.
Brian Cox (born 1968) is a British particle physicist, professor at the University of Manchester, and a researcher on the ATLAS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider. He is best known internationally for his BBC documentary series - from Wonders of the Solar System to The Planets - and for arena-scale live science shows that have drawn hundreds of thousands of audience members worldwide. In 2025 the United Nations designated him its Champion for Space.
The UN appointed Brian Cox as its ambassador for space (UN Champion for Space) to promote the peaceful use of outer space.
Cox launched a new science podcast A Question of Science for the Francis Crick Institute, produced by BBC Studios, with new episodes every Wednesday.
