Bolka is a Slovak experimental musician and singer who studied at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. His music moves between freak folk, microtonal experiments and pop sensibility, layering intricate sound landscapes with absurdist humour. His debut album "smutné stropy" and the follow-up Schwarzkopf both draw on surrealist imagery and deconstructed ballads.
