Blaze Bayley is a British heavy metal singer born on 29 May 1963 in Birmingham, best known as the frontman of Iron Maiden from 1994 to 1999, during which he recorded The X Factor (1995) and Virtual XI (1998). After leaving Maiden he built a prolific solo career, releasing over ten studio albums - most recently Circle of Stone in 2024. He regularly tours with dedicated Iron Maiden anniversary sets alongside his own material. In 2026 he will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of Iron Maiden's Class of 2026.
