Black Veil Brides are an American rock band founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2006 by vocalist Andy Biersack, who relocated the project to Los Angeles. Their sound fuses glam metal, hard rock and metalcore beneath a theatrical gothic image drawn from Kiss and Mötley Crüe. The 2013 concept album Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones peaked at number 7 on the Billboard 200, cementing their mainstream breakthrough. In May 2026 they released their seventh studio album, VINDICATE, self-produced by Biersack and guitarist Jake Pitts.
