William Goldwyn Nunn III (October 20, 1953 - September 24, 2016) was an American actor from Pittsburgh who left a lasting mark on cinema as Radio Raheem in Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing (1989). He studied at Morehouse College in Atlanta, where he met Lee and Samuel L. Jackson, and stumbled into acting almost by accident. Beyond Lee's films, he is widely recognized as newspaper editor Robbie Robertson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002-2007). He died in his native Pittsburgh after a long battle with leukemia, aged 62.
