BERHELVEN is a Prague-based female-fronted death/doom metal band, formed in April 2024 as a five-piece. Their sound draws on brutal death, doom and atmospheric synth-driven melodies. Since spring 2025 they have been playing shows regularly and also organize the Prague underground festival Dismal Ascendancy Fest. Their debut EP Burned in Ecstasy is in the works.
BERHELVEN performed on June 10, 2026 at the Prague club 007 Strahov alongside Swedish and Italian bands LÝSIS, SHIVER DOWN and DISTORTED TIMES.
The band participated in June 2026 at a festival in Bylany (Stromovka area), where it performed as part of a two-day event.
In March 2026, the band performed in Roztoky near Prague, where it was invited as guests by the local band Shadow of the Abyss.
BERHELVEN are organizing the Prague festival Dismal Ascendancy Fest for the second time in 2026, focused on the young metal scene.
The band is working on their debut EP titled Burned in Ecstasy.
