Ben Böhmer (born 1993) is a German producer, DJ and composer from Göttingen, now based in Berlin. He built his name on melodic house and indie electronica rooted in a classical piano background - as a teenager he studied improvisation before moving to Berlin and turning to electronic production. His debut album Breathing (2019, Anjunadeep) drew on personal grief; after Begin Again (2021) he moved to Ninja Tune and released his third album Bloom in September 2024, featuring collaborators including Lykke Li and Oh Wonder. His live sets, in which he plays piano in real time, rank among the most-watched in the genre.
In December 2025, Ben Böhmer released the single 'Caught Up In The Fire (An Apparition)' featuring JONAH on the Ninja Tune label.
In April 2025, Ben Böhmer performed at the Coachella festival in India in California.
In 2025, Ben Böhmer continued his extensive Bloom Live Tour, which included stops in Asia and North America.
In September 2024, Ben Böhmer released his third studio album Bloom on the Ninja Tune label featuring Lykke Li, Oh Wonder and others.
In June 2024, Ben Böhmer performed as the direct opener for ODESZA at the sold-out Madison Square Garden in New York.
