
Shkodra Elektronike (ALB): Europe tour, new album!
Albanian folktronic duo Shkodra Elektronike, who represented Albania at Eurovision 2025, brings their European tour and new album to Brno. Raw Balkan folklore meets modern electronic energy.
Beatriçe Gjergji is an Albanian-Italian singer and songwriter who grew up in Italy after emigrating from northern Albania. She forms one half of the folktronica duo Shkodra Elektronike, which she has run with producer Kolë Laca since 2019, building their sound around traditional songs from Shkodër reworked with electronic production. In December 2024 the duo won Festivali i Këngës 63, then went on to finish 8th at Eurovision 2025 in Basel with "Zjerm" - Albania's best result since 2012.
Shkodra Elektronike performed as guests at Festivali i Këngës 64 in Tirana, where a new generation of performers selected Albania for Eurovision 2026.
The duo placed 8th in the Eurovision 2025 final in Basel with 218 points - Albania's best result since 2012.
Zjerm charted in the hit parades of Sweden, Greece, Lithuania, and Switzerland after Eurovision.
Shkodra Elektronike won Festivali i Këngës 63 in Tirana and earned the right to represent Albania at Eurovision 2025.
The single Zjerm was released on December 10, 2024 as the lead single from the EP Shndrit! and was written in the Gheg dialect of Albanian.
