Bayonne (US) - Filters Tour
American electronic musician Bayonne brings his Filters tour to Prague, exploring themes of loss and reconciliation through intimate live performance.
Bayonne is the stage name of Roger Sellers, an Austin, Texas-based musician and minimalist composer known for building dense, atmospheric songs live - layering drums, synths, guitar and vocals in real time on stage. He adopted the Bayonne moniker in 2016 with the reissue of Primitives on Mom + Pop / City Slang, and has since released three studio albums, the most recent being Temporary Time (2023), which draws on the grief of losing his father to cancer.
Bayonne and Nathaniel Earl released the EP Temporary Time (Scores), which transforms four compositions from the album Temporary Time into symphonic classical arrangements.
Bayonne released the compilation Early Recordings (2006-2012), which gathers early recordings from the period before adopting the pseudonym Bayonne.
Bayonne performed an autumn tour across the USA with concerts in Austin, New Orleans, Orlando, and Atlanta.
Bayonne and composer Nathaniel Earl released the EP Temporary Time (Orchestrated), which reworks five compositions from the album Temporary Time using a chamber orchestra.
Bayonne released the third studio album Temporary Time (Nettwerk Music Group), inspired by his father's illness and death; the album contains nine compositions with a duration of less than 45 minutes.
