Barbora Janíčková (born 1 May 2000 in Brno) is a Czech swimmer competing for SK UP Olomouc under coach Dušan Viktorjeník. A specialist in freestyle and individual medley, she won silver in the 100 m freestyle at the 2024 European Championships in Belgrade and in December 2024 became the first Czech woman to break 24 seconds in the 50 m freestyle (23.99 s) at the World Short Course Championships in Budapest. She also competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as part of the 4×100 m freestyle relay.
At the European Championships in the short course pool in Lublin (December 2025) Janíčková advanced to the semi-final in the 100 m freestyle with a personal record of 52.66 s and set a Czech record in the 100 m individual medley.
At the Slovakia Swimming Cup in Šamorín (October 2025) Janíčková became the first Czech female swimmer to complete the 100 m individual medley in under 59 seconds - with a new national record of 58.94 s she met the qualifying standard for the European Championships in Lublin.
At the World Championships in Singapore (July 2025) Janíčková advanced to the semi-final in the 100 m freestyle with a time of 53.60 s, significantly improving her personal record.
At the World Championships in the short course pool in Budapest (December 2024) Janíčková became the first Czech female swimmer to complete the 50 m freestyle in under 24 seconds - with a national record of 23.99 s she finished in tenth place.
At the same championship in Budapest Janíčková also set a national record in the 100 m individual medley (59.25 s) and finished in twelfth place overall.
