Avokaduo is a Prague-based folk-jazz duo formed by Anežka Matoušková (vocals, guitar) and Klára Pudláková (double bass, vocals), childhood friends who both studied at Prague's HAMU jazz department. Their music - all original lyrics and melodies - sits between folk and jazz, with a thread of improvisation running through it. They have released two albums on the Polí5 label: the debut Za kousek něhy (2020) and Zmatená Zmatená (2022).
Avokaduo performed at the Czech Radio Open Day in Prague (May 17, 2025), where the concert was organized by Czech Radio Jazz.
The duo is finishing songs for their third album and preparing for a summer tour with new material.
Avokaduo is listed among the performers at the event in Rudá u Rýmařova (August 23, 2025).
Klára Pudláková, the double bassist of Avokaduo, released the debut of her bowed project MAOMAH in January 2024 on the Ma Records label.
