Asier Etxeandia (born 1975, Bilbao) is a Spanish actor and singer whose work spans theater, television and film. He gained wide international recognition for his role as actor Alberto Crespo in Pedro Almodóvar's Pain and Glory (2019), earning a Goya Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. On stage he has won the Premio Max twice, and in music he fronts the electro-pop project Mastodonte alongside musician Enrico Bárbaro.
Mastodonte performed at the Bilbao festival Aste Nagusia with a special project Mastodophonica, in which the electropop band was complemented by Euskadiko Gazte Orkestra and Coro San Juan Bautista de Leioa.
Etxeandia hosted the gala evening of the XII. Premios PLATINO in Madrid alongside Mexican actress Aislinn Derbez.
The film Frontera (directed by Judith Colell) was released in cinemas, in which Etxeandia plays one of the leading roles.
Etxeandia appeared in the Spanish historical drama El molino (directed by Alfonso Cortés-Cavanillas) in the role of Jaimeho.
