Antonia San Juan is a Spanish actress, director and screenwriter born in 1961 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. She gained international recognition for her role as the transgender sex worker Agrado in Pedro Almodóvar's All About My Mother (1999), winning the Spanish Actors' Union Award for Best Supporting Actress. Beyond that breakthrough, her career spans the Netflix sci-fi hit The Platform (2019), the long-running TV comedy La que se avecina, and a prolific stage career run through her own company, Trece Producciones.
