Anthony Paul Ramos Martinez (born November 1, 1991, in Brooklyn) is a Puerto Rican-American actor and singer. He rose to prominence originating the dual role of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the original Broadway cast of Hamilton (2015), winning a Grammy for the cast recording. His film career spans the lead role in In the Heights (2021) - which earned him a Golden Globe nomination - Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023), and Twisters (2024). As a solo artist he has released two albums, The Good & the Bad (2019) and Love and Lies (2021), generating hundreds of millions of streams.
