Ann My Guard is the project of Hungarian singer, bassist and songwriter Eszter Anna Baumann, founded in Budapest in 2007. The band moves between alternative metal, dark rock and gothic rock, built around Baumann's distinctive vocals and mythology-driven lyrics. After four metal albums, Baumann relocated to the Netherlands, where she also co-founded the booking agency IDVI Agency. The fifth record She of the Sea and Stars (2025) marks a shift toward semi-acoustic darkwave and dark pop.
