Creating Summer
A summer creative programme for families at DOX Centre. Children and their grandparents explore various activities inspired by contemporary art, guided by instructors in a gallery environment.

He studied dance interpretation and modern dance didactics at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, then continued at the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD). He is a member of the Prague-based ensemble Farm in the Cave - with credits on Ephemera, Commander, Refuge 2025 and other productions - and co-founder of the Orava multigenre festival Tanečno, which won the Slovak theatre prize DOSKY in 2023.
In May 2026, the Prague Center for Contemporary Art DOX premiered the author's project Disappearing Man / Mizející muž - a dance solo by Andrej Štepita in dialogue with a musical solo by Štepán Janoušek.
In February 2026, the dance project Flotsan and Jetsam premiered, which Štepita created together with juggler and performer Lukas Bliss; the production was provided by the CinkCinkCirk ensemble and the Danceconnected platform as part of the Cirkopolis festival.
Štepita participated in the production Útočiště 2025 (Refuge 2025) by the Farma v jeskyni ensemble, where he performed alongside Hana Varadzinová, Michaela Králiková, and David Králík.
In May 2025, Štepita was credited as the author of the concept for the site-specific project Connecting/Stations, a happening taking place in railway station halls, created in collaboration with the Tanečno collective and MOVE Ostrava.
In November 2023, the Tanečno collective, of which Štepita is a co-founder, received the DOSKY award for an outstanding achievement in dance theater for the production YOLT - You Only Live Twice choreographed by Manuel Ronda.
