Alexandr Misko (born 28 November 1997 in Krasnodar, Russia) is a fingerstyle guitarist and composer based in Germany, known for his self-invented Frankenstein Guitar - a custom acoustic instrument with a triple detuning system, built-in percussion, and 14 pickups. His cover of George Michael's "Careless Whisper" racked up over 80 million views in a single month, and in 2018 MusicRadar named him Guitarist of the Year. He performed at Carnegie Hall in January 2020 and contributed guitar to the Hans Zimmer-scored German TV series "Black Gold" (2024-2025).
Misko released the single "Umbrella Street", his latest project on YouTube Music.
The soundtrack to the German series "Black Gold" with Misko's guitar contribution was released on December 19, 2025 by Sony Classical.
Misko is conducting an extensive tour of Canada, Germany, and Austria - a total of 33 planned concerts.
Misko made his debut as a film composer - he collaborated with Hans Zimmer and Aleksey Igudesman on the soundtrack to the series "Black Gold".
Misko and harpist Alexander Boldachev performed at the Dutch Harp Festival, where their composition "Crossroads" was featured in the official after-movie of the event.
