Alena Baeva is a Russian violinist who trained at the Moscow Conservatory and came to international attention after winning the Henryk Wieniawski Competition in Poznań in 2001. She performs both as a soloist with major orchestras and as a chamber musician, covering repertoire from the Baroque to contemporary works.
