Alejandro Rey was an Argentine-American actor born in Buenos Aires in 1930. After building a name in Argentine cinema, he moved to the US in 1960 and carved out a Hollywood career in both film and television. He is best remembered as playboy casino owner Carlos Ramirez in The Flying Nun (1967-70) and for his role alongside Elvis Presley in Fun in Acapulco (1963). He died in Los Angeles in 1987.
