Aaron James Horvath (born August 19, 1980, Orange County, California) is an American animator, screenwriter, producer, and director. He co-created the Cartoon Network series Teen Titans Go! (2013) with Michael Jelenic and made his feature directing debut with Teen Titans Go! To the Movies (2018). His international breakthrough came with The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), which grossed over $1.36 billion worldwide and became the highest-grossing video game adaptation in history at the time. The sequel, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (2026), again co-directed with Jelenic, crossed $1 billion - the first film of 2026 to do so.
