Rakim Athelaston Mayers (born October 3, 1988, Harlem, New York), known as A$AP Rocky, is an American rapper, producer, and founder of the creative agency AWGE. He rose to prominence through the A$AP Mob collective and his acclaimed 2011 debut mixtape LIVE.LOVE.A$AP, going on to release four studio albums and accumulate over 25 billion total streams. Beyond music, he has built a parallel career as an actor, fashion figure, and co-chair of the 2025 Met Gala.
