Isao Takahata (October 29, 1935 – April 5, 2018), co-founder of Studio Ghibli, was one of the most famous directors of Japanese animated films. Unlike most anime directors, he did not draw and never worked as an animator before becoming a director.

Tôru Masuoka was born on 23 August 1956 in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Japan. He is an actor, known for Kamen Rider Movie War Mega Max: Kamen Rider vs. Kamen Rider Fourze & OOO (2011), My Neighbours the Yamadas (1999) and K-20: The Fiend with Twenty Faces (2008).
