Jan Strejcovský is a Czech documentary filmmaker known for situational satire and a fondness for mystification. His film Má to cenu!? probes the art market by bringing together collectors, gallerists and artists, then deliberately blurs the line between reality and staged provocation.
Jiří David is a Czech intermedia artist working across painting, photography, installation and objects. He became widely known for his series of portraits depicting politicians with half-closed eyes, which sparked considerable debate. He has been a prominent figure in Czech visual art since the 1980s.
