Budoár staré dámy is a Brno-based band formed in 1998, known as a torchbearer of Brno's alternative rock tradition. Their sound is built on energetic female vocals, catchy melodies, poetic lyrics, and an unconventional approach to the Czech language.

On stage, the intuitive, at times fragile, at times brutal vocal expression of Marta Kovářová meets the guitar of Marek Laudát and the rhythm section of drummer Petr Fučík and bassist Tomáš Ergens. The urgency of their lyrical messages alternates with relaxed humor during breaks - you never quite know what you'll discover.

Budoár brings the release party for their new album "V úplně pitomé době" to Stamina, which comes out on September 25 via Indies Scope.
